The two publications provide information on the governing laws and various aspects of setting up and doing business in the ADGM or DIFC in a simple question-and-answer format. The ADGM and the DIFC apply common law while the UAE is a civil law jurisdiction.
The federal laws of the UAE apply to the ADGM except that the civil and commercial laws of the UAE do not apply to the ADGM and DIFC and these financial free zones have their own commercial laws.
