Simon is an experienced litigator who is trusted by his clients to deal with all forms of commercial and civil litigation matters including breach of contract, professional negligence, company and partnership, civil fraud and contentious probate. 

Clients from Europe to North America have benefited from Simon’s expertise in handling cross-border disputes. They appreciate his results-driven and pragmatic approach to dispute resolution, and his ability to draw on an extensive global network of contacts when appropriate.

Outside work Simon is kept busy by his four children, reading detective novels and supporting Tottenham Hotspur FC. He also enjoys long walks in the countryside, an activity not enjoyed by his children.

Experience Highlights/Notable Cases:

• Successfully acted for a defendant in the Skatteforvaltningen (SKAT) litigation, described by Mr Justice Andrew Baker as "litigation on a massive scale".
• Successfully acted for a prestigious US university following receipt of an intellectual property cease and desist letter.
• Renegotiating an IP licence agreement in the context of a dispute between the parties as to termination and commission.      
• Advising Luxembourg based investment funds with asset recovery.
• Advising and assisting a German company  with a Health and Safety Executive (HSE) investigation. 
•  Obtaining an £850,000 settlement for a cyclist who sustained life-changing injuries as a result of an accident with a skip lorry. 
• Successfully acting for the family and estate of a woman who died as a result of misdiagnosis of sepsis.
